Education and Academic Activities
In 1990, he enrolled in the Faculty of Letters at Istanbul University and graduated from the Department of Literature. After graduation, he started working as a research assistant at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University and completed his master’s degree at the same institution.
In 1991, he began his doctoral studies at the Institute of Social Sciences of Istanbul University. After earning his PhD, he was appointed as a faculty member at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. In 2003, he joined Istanbul Bahçeşehir University, where he obtained the titles of Associate Professor and Professor.
He completed his post-doctoral research studies in Germany.
He is currently serving as a professor in the fields of literature and culture at Bahçeşehir University, where he teaches, conducts research, and publishes scholarly articles.
